Division-Wide Adoration Begins

CTR Catholic will bring our students and staff to the REAL presence of Jesus during a period of division-wide adoration. Eucharistic adoration will occur in our schools and parishes from May 7-18.

“Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament has his hands full of graces, and He is ready to bestow them on any-one who asks for them.”

St. Peter of Alcantara.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Understood simply, Eucharistic Adoration is adoring or honouring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves "the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us".

During Eucharistic Adoration, we "watch and wait", we remain "silent" in His Presence and open ourselves to His Graces which flow from the Eucharist ... By worshiping the Eucharistic Jesus, we become what God wants us to be! Like a magnet, The Lord draws us to Himself and gently transforms us.

In its fullest essence ... Eucharistic Adoration is "God and Man reaching out for each other, at the same time!"

“Adoration is essentially an embrace with Jesus in which I say to him: “I am yours and I ask you, please stay with me always.”  Pope Benedict XVI

Each one of us is a co-worker of Christ.  But, unless we have Jesus, we cannot give Him; that is why we need the Eucharist. Spend as much time as possible in front of the Blessed Sacrament and He will fill you with His strength and His power. Tell Him, 'Come to our hearts Lord and stay with us'. Then you will become the instruments of His love, peace and joy."  St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
