Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools is pleased to announce Mr. Marco Pacione as Principal of St. John Paul II Collegiate in Okotoks, Alberta.
Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools is pleased to announce that Mr. Marco Pacione has been appointed Principal of St. John Paul II Collegiate. Marco began teaching in 1997 and has been with Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools since 1999. After serving 15 years at St. Paul’s Academy / The Centre for Learning@HOME as a teacher and vice principal, Marco joined St. John Paul II Collegiate as vice principal in 2014. Marco completed his Master of Education in Leadership from the University of Calgary in June, 2015.
In accepting the role, Marco states, “I am blessed to work with such a strong group of committed and faith-filled professionals at St. John Paul II Collegiate, as we strive daily to create safe and caring school experiences that inspire confidence in our youth. I look forward to collaborating with the students, parents, and staff of our school community in building on our strong Gryphon traditions of trust in God and academic excellence.”
Superintendent of CTR Dr. Scott Morrison shared, “Mr. Pacione has distinguished himself as a Vice-Principal in two of Christ The Redeemer Catholic’s schools over the course of the past 15 years. He has built strong, trusting relationships and demonstrated the ability to create faith-based, academically excellent, safe and caring schools.”
Mr. Pacione will begin his role as Principal of St. John Paul II Collegiate as of May 14, 2018. All members of CTR are encouraged to pass along prayers and best wishes to Marco.
